That is just too terrible to comprehend. The guy had just turned 22 and didn't get to see a full week at that age. Damn.

Yep. Photo editor for the Kentucky Kernel (UK newspaper). Just an absolutely senseless tragedy. No parent should have to bury their child.

Kruger was a photographer for the student newspaper, he had some great photos...I think he is the one that caught WCS dunk at Florida.
This happened near my daughters school (not even a block)...safe area. I guess he was walking with a friend from a party nearby. Damn shame, they got the guy who shot him.

Drove home from the office last night down Maxwell. An impromptu memorial has been set up in the median at Transylvania Park and Maxwell. Saw tons of flowers. Damn shame.

For those that are interested, the Kentucky Kernel has set up a scholarship fund in the young man's name through GoFundMe. They've raised close to 20k so far.
