Should a youth pastor accused of raping a 14 yo girl find a new profession?

Former Muscle Shoals youth pastor accused of rape, sodomy hired by Texas church - and members are not happy
I'd think the guy would try working at Best Buy or something. If it were a boy he had been raping, I can think of at least one Christian religion that he could convert to.

I'm not big on guilty until proven innocent, but if I was that church I wouldn't touch him with a ten foot pole until he was cleared of any charges.
I'm trying to figure out how he can be charged with all of that and be able to leave the state of Alabama until he goes to court.

According to the article he was just now accused by the girl, 3 years after the fact. If true he should spend many many years in prison. And I'm expecting it to be true. I cannot see some 17 year old girl making this story up out of the blue.

If it happened he should be in jail for a long time.
If he didn't happen I hope his life isn't rurned.

A youth pastor accused of any relationship with a 14 year old girl should be unemployed until further details come out. He should be in prison if true.

Any church that knowingly hires someone credibly accused of rape or any other similar charge is 1) openin themselves up to tremendous liability and 2) fricking stupid and 3) they make Jesus sad.

Nothing makes Jesus sadder than Gods greatest creation...

The dude should just repent and all will be good. I'm sure the religious folks would agree. If Jesus can forgive him, why can't our judicial system?

I am not defending him, but to suggest that teenagers don't make shite up is kinda out there...

i'm all about innocent till proven guilty, but the church in no way should have made this hire while this was lingering.
