Well damn i wonder why they banned it. Sure everybody in Germany would support it. It brings people together for one cause.....GERMANY! That flag unites all people in Germany no matter if their background is jewish, russian, British, american, French. It's not used out of hate. It's white heritage. Flag was flying when Jesse Owens ran....it's historic. Just a flag.

Sorta like some state's use the 3rd monday in January for Jefferson Davis Birthday....was on grandmothers calendar in Louisiana (btw MLK day wasn't on Calendar). Pretty slick huh. People are easily fooled, it's just too easy.

January (3rd Monday) - This day is Confederate Heroes Day.

So you bring nothing constructive to the conversation with this post. Its a poor attempt at humor to distract from your lack of intellect.
You and the people like you are hopeless. I hesitate to reply to reply because y'all are mindless idiots but the ignorance and false facts y'all peddle compel me to correct them.
There a numerous differences between the swastika and confederate flag and if you can't understand them or think that the only thing that matters is the skinheads use them then just say that the only thing that matters is that a hate group uses it.
But you probably couldn't even make that logical connection. Like I already said, you are told the flag must come down so you say the flag must come down, even if you can't articulate why.

Strom Thurmond gave a speech in favor of segregation during the event. And if the flag was still on top of the state house that would be relevant.
But it was moved in 2000 with bipartisan support and the support of the NAACP to a confederate monument. It is in an appropriate location and wasn't put there by segregationists.

Like i said go protest against the kkk using your beloved flag as hate. I bet most supporters will be Side by side agreeing with the klan....waiving their beloved flag.....thats why a lot of southerners are for taking it down.....times are changing......south is not rising...lol. In all your effort to label anyone ignorant, you're also being disingenuous on the history of the flag flying at state capitols around the South. Yes, it was flown many times between the ending of the war through 1950, but was only flown for a day or two to commemorate Confederate Veterans, then removed. The issue is it was permanently put up at state capitols around the South in the early 60's(1962 in South Carolina) as a symbolic middle finger to the civil rights movement.

Thank you....people are in denial. Just like it was used at political rallies during the same time period. People didn't bring them to a rally to support confederate vets. They waived the flag during segregation speeches. Nothing to do with honoring vets, anniversary for war. It was a symbol for segregation... straight out F-you to Yankees, outsiders, southern blacks.
You could look at the flag back then and tell who supported racism, segregation, etc. Bet nobody can find a pic on Google of someone in the 50's-70 holding up a confederate flag and supporting integration.lol. But you can find a lot of them holding flag supporting segregation.
