SEC States with the best food.........

Lots of good food everywhere you go. Something for everyone.

I always laugh when someone from this State or that State says our is "best". There's clearly no bias in such statements.

I like KC style, Carolina style, Texas style...

I'm not surprised that a resident from one of the fattest states would prefer the sugary version of BBQ sauce. Diabeetus is grand.

Seriously though, it's an acquired taste. If you like sweet and tangy sauce then you'll love mustard based...

FYI, mustard based is really only popular in and around Columbia (the midlands) and Charleston (the Lowcountry)... other areas of the state, like the Pee Dee (inland from Myrtle on up to NC border) and the Upstate they do barbecue completely different with either ketchup based or vinegar base.

Areas of SC around Augusta and along the Georgia border eat it differently as well.
