If you're looking for reasonably priced accommodations in the city, check out the string of hotels on Lombard St. between Van Ness and Lyon. I just got back from SF, staying at a Travel Lodge at Lombard and Lyon, right at the entrance to the Presidio. Decent room, quiet, a buck-40 a night, EXCELLENT location. Check it out if or when you visit.

San Francisco can be a heterosexual male's dream, and for an obvious reason: the ratio of hetero males to hetero females is like 1:2. And the city is hardly lacking for beautiful women, ranging from California blonds to Asians of all nations.

Poor people that can't afford to stay on Nob Hill board.

Is this in the Tenderloin District?

No. And yes, you'll find cheaper hotels in the 'Loin. At risk of your life of course.

There's more to see and do around the SF bay area than anywhere. You need about a week once you include a couple of requisite day trips to each of Sonoma Valley and Carmel.

I saw security camera footage of a crackhead running smack dab into the side of a bus.
Ten minutes later there were about a 100 bicycles that circled around the intersection and then went off in some direction.
Weird arse place.
