Was actually going to say, there is/was a Nathan Bedford Forrest HS and Robert E Lee HS in Jacksonville. Both are predominantly black schools.

If this is for the school in Austin, apparently these are the leading nominations so far:

Donald J. Trump Elementary: 45 nominations
Robert E. Lee Elementary: 34 nominations
Russell Lee Elementary: 32 nominations
Harper Lee Elementary: 30 nominations
Elisabet Ney Elementary: 15 nominations

J.e.b. Stuart middle is not any better, and I believe a feeder for n.b. forrest. Then again we can say the same for Jackson or ribault. Not a lot of pale faces nor French explorers at these schools.

It really is sad Robert e Lee is the face of civil war era racism ge wasnt even racist nor did he particularly agree with the South's cause. He fought because he was a Virginian and that's what Virginians did when someone else raided their state
