Everything about this is so fricked up. Poor girl.
quote:
A rape victim in India was asked to balance a 40kg rock on her head in order to ‘prove her purity’ and reside with her husband again.
The rape survivor, who became pregnant as a result of the attack and had been denied an abortion by Gujarat High Court in India, has to undergo a ritual, called ‘Agnipariksha‘. If she passes this ‘sanctity test’, she would be able to live with her husband again.
Speaking to India Today, the woman said she was living in fear and that her attacker had threatened to kill her when he gets released from prison.
‘Agnipariksha’, which means ‘test of fire’, is a traditional practice carried out in some parts of India because the virtue of women who have suffered sexual abuse is considered to be ‘tainted’. The practice has its foundation in the Hindu poem Ramayana, in which Sita was made to sit in the fire after she had been kidnapped by a suitor.
The treatment of women and rape victims in India has caused a global debate after the gang rape of a 23-year-old student on a Delhi bus in 2012.
A more recent case of the gang rape of a 71-year-old nun jolted India in March 2015. The nun was attacked late Friday after a gang of half a dozen robbers broke into a convent school in eastern West Bengal state and ransacked the premises.
The robbers gagged a security guard before assaulting the nun. They then entered the principal’s room and stole cash, a laptop and a mobile phone, according to police.

I can't believe that some people would use a 3,000 year old piece of literature as a reason to persecute another person. Glad we don't have to deal with that shite in America. . .oh, wait, never mind.

The feminists/liberals that continually shout about a "war on women" in the US need to shut up

So because women in the third world have horrible lives, women in America should be glad they're just discriminated against and not treated like complete shite?

How?
Under what circumstances?
The wage gap is a myth. Women are over-represented in college. Women are under-represented in prisons. Women win in family court. Women win in regular court (relative to men who commit similar crimes).
Women don't have to register for Selective Service.
There is literally no group of people on the planet who are as privileged as American women at this point in history.
The current crop of feminists are just proving why every successful civilization has "regulated" its women. They simply do not deal well with "full adult rights", nor do they appreciate what they have.

Women have the benefit of numerous double standards

Women have privilege in the following instances:
Family court
Child custody
college application
prison sentence and population
don't have to register for the draft
men have privilege in the following instances:
Don't have to bleed every month.
Women are under very little obligation in society today. You know what I'm under obligation to do? Work at a job away from my family for 2/3s of my waking hours, every day until 2055 when my retirement happens, IF I have saved money correctly. I don't get the 'choice' to be a stay at home dad. Almost no woman in America wants to marry a guy she is going to have to take care of, thus making it a requirement to get married and have a kid, that I work for the rest of my natural life. If my wife expects me to follow through with this societal obligation, its considered not just normal, but outrageous if I tell her 'no honey, you have to work, I've decided to stay home with my son.' But its sexist if I expect my wife to follow through on her obligations as the other half of our marriage partnership.

There is a whole lot of truth in this thread.
American women have the most privilege and easiest life of any group in the history of the world.

If you listened to any of the feminazis you would think they are forced to have sex with any man that wants to and they can't choose whether or not to have a baby. They also make you think they're making 50 cents an hour.

No one listens to feminazis except for other feminazis. I don't recall ever being discriminated against... ever.

Exactly. Most intelligent women know they aren't discriminated against in any way.

Most feminists are lucky if they find a guy pathetic enough to want to have sex with them
