I would like all of these social media users and posters on this board who don't understand this to listen to this very, very carefully:
Just bc you can get fired bc of you say doesn't mean you don't have freedom of speech. Freedom of speech means you are protected from punishment from the government based on your speech. It DOES NOT protect you from the consequences your fellow citizens deem necessary bc of thing you say
Here is a cut and dry example for those of the thicker skull:
If you call your boss a useless Fatass motherfricker the government cannot punish you
If you call your boss a useless Fatass motherfricker the local Hardee's will likely be short one fry cook as it is completely within their rights to toss your dumbass out into the street and fire you

no This got me all riled up bc of people responding to this Donald Trump stuff yelling "freedom of speech rabble rabble rabble!" And my gfs mom (Alabama fan of course) doesn't get it either, I just wish people would think for a moment

people dont understand the difference between our Laissez-faire economy and the 1st amendment partially because the government involves itself so much in the economy when they shouldnt. its understandable.
