racism will never end

I don't post much here but I am a daily reader. I truly wrestled with even saying anything, because at the end of the day, it truly will hardly matter.
I am an educated, proud, Christian black man, and it sickens me to read how many on this board feel about black people. The saddest part is that it seems mostly based on stereotypes. STEREOTYPES!! In 2015!!
I realize that it's a futile effort to get white men to identify with the plite of black and brown people and even white women, but where is the humanity?
I seen one person talk about how black people should be happy because they get a free education. Wrong. I can assure you with the amount of student loan debt that I have that you are incorrect, and you basically ran with lie someone told you. Another poster said that Africans hate black Americans because we're ghetto. That's also laughable. I have a huge, and I do mean huge, family and almost every single one is educated or at the very least has a respectable job. No one in my family has ever been convicted of a violent crime. In fact most in my family are well spoken, up standing citizens. As well as most other black families I know.
I am sick of being portrayed as some gun wielding, ebonics speaking, idiot just so it can fit the narrative of people who just will never truly like us. I have numerous white friends whom have numerous black friends as well, and I highly doubt that they feel this way about African Americans. I find it interesting that the people who call black people whiners, or criminals, or moochers, usually have no daily dealings with black people. Like I said earlier, they're running with stereotypes.

It's easy to dismiss racism when you're in the position of privilege. Just so you know, not ALL white people are blind to the situation.

Stereotypes exist for a reason bro. Last Friday around midnight, for the first time in 34 years of my life I almost got robbed. I won't comment any further but it totally changed my view on certain demographics. In the past I absolutely despised George Zimmerman and his supporters but I understand him now.

I don't really understand that- pretty sure the free education thing had to do with athletic scholarships specifically. And you 'saw' not 'seen' it.

I never once said all white people are devils. I have a white wife. One of my best friends is white. I must not of made my point clearly enough . I know this thread won't last long on here. I see the tone of this board
