Punch Bug, Slug Bug, or whatever you call it.The rules.

My wife and I are arguing about the rules of punch bug. Only rule we really agree upon is no punching for the plastic style bugs. Now my question is about something that is more unclear. Such as time of wait between punching. For example: You have a bug that is parked on your street. Are you allowed to drive by it daily and get a punch in for it? If you are cruising around your town and see you a punch bug, then 2 hours later you see the same exact bug in a different location are you also then allowed to punch for it?

The new ones? That's a dumb rule because there are hardly any old bugs around anymore.

Each unique trip in the car resets the game. So you can punch on that bug as many times as you want so long as each time you do it is a new trip in the car. So, you drive to the store, it's fair game, and on the way home it's fair game.

The rule in our house is you can punch for every punch bug you see. Whether it's parked or it's the same one. I see a punch bug somebody is getting punched.

The rules are no one over the age of 10 is eligible because we are grown arse adults.

I prefer to play air drums on the steering wheel in the car to loud music. Just because I don't play kids games means jack. I guess hitting my passengers never struck me as a fun game.
Sound logic "Your life must be fricking terrible because you don't find hitting passengers upon seeing a VW as entertainment." That game is lame.

About as sound as saying nobody plays it because we're adults. Playing air drums is so super cool though. I wish I could be a man like you.

That's not what I said.
You're bashing the guy for playing a game that you deemed childish. I told you to lighten up and let him have fun. Different people enjoy different things. The fact that you got so defensive about it just proves my point even more.
