Why would any normal and same person be on Facebook these days?

Old people are still gravitating toward facebook and the stock has doubled since 2013...
I don't get it and don't own it but, the PE & PEG data say it's profitable...
Dangle a carrot sell peoples profile information to marketeers for profit, pretty solid business platform as long as your carrots taste better than the others on the market.

I don't have Facebook installed on my phone anymore, but guess I still have an account. I never minded going on because I just unfriended people that post things I don't want to hear about. No political BS. No stay at home moms griping about their life. None of it.

Just joined a year or so ago so I am way behind with that stuff. I have enjoyed catching up with so many people that have all gone different directions. Yes, I could see it being more popular with adults that have kids and the older adults. Younger folks have moved on. Seems like the same type of posts on twitter....just shorter. Also most people generally exhibit a trend so ignore or unfollow what you don't want....like on this message board.
