Oh and pregnant girl snoring when you're finally trying to sleep will break your soul.

It's the worst.

***********************************************
Holy shite, Stacked is about to be serious.
***********************************************
Looks like you deleted whatever the original post said by the time I had a chance to see it, so I'll just say this.
Enjoy the first year with your baby with everything you have. You'll think you're enjoying it, but try even harder. Every single thing. You won't realize how much fun it was to have the child you one day see becoming a grown kid when they were tiny and a precious little baby. That tiny precious baby stage is the most underrated time of a parents life. Often talked bad about. Soak that shite in for every second you are still able to consider them to be at that stage of their life.

Again, you won't really realize how great it was until it's too late, but that's what 2nd child's are for.

This is true. You'll have trouble, even when the baby is around 3, of remembering what it was like, and if you're like me, that'll upset you. It goes SUPER FAST!

When's her due date? Mine is December. It's our first and I'm nervous as shite. Also really excited and thrilled.

Congrats to both you guys

Soak that shite up, guys. Even when you think what you're feeling is misery. It isn't, and you can't get it back after the seemingly 10 seconds you have them at that time in their lives.

Truly a once in a lifetime thing. For me, like most things, you truly don't realize it until you begin missing it.

For the record, mine are 5 and 7. Which is why I feel this way about when they were babies.

I'm sure in 5 years I'll have the same type of feelings about them being the age they are now.

Again, congrats so much you two.

if you can't sleep now just wait. our son is 14 weeks and is sleeping better but those first few weeks are rough.

absolutely worth it though.

Yeah I actually think I'll be better once she gets here.

Now, it's just neurosis and not being able to turn my head off for a little bit.

That's exactly how I'm looking at it. Most of my job is looking at how things could possibly go wrong so it's hard stopping that thinking when I leave work.

you're mind is just preparing for fatherhood, once they get here you spend for the first few weeks worrying about them constantly. can't tell you how many times Id wake up and reach out to make sure he was breathing. still do it from time to time.

You already know you'll probably be better at it than most of the people you associate with. Anxiety is normal. You'd be a shitbag if you weren't apprehensive and tense right now. It's positive stress.

3 and 4 are nothing compared to teen years. If you have a girl, your life is over. by the time nature and hormones catch up to them around 13 they are full blown psychotic. They dont return to something other that crazy until about 21ish.
