Well, are they 90% white guys in navy jackets with dayglo lettering and yelling "police, search warrant" like what happened here?

Do you have to try and be this retarded, or were you born this way?

He shot at the wall where the window that was broken was. Let's look at the simple fact here. Nobody gets shot if they bang on the door and yell "police, search warrant". Which ISN'T what happened here. They only announced who they were after he used his firearm. They did it early in the morning, pre-dawn, meaning it was dark.

Right on Robert. We need (all American citizens) should get off our arse and demand a change in the entire criminal justice system especially no knock warrants and aggressive police training. And let's quit hiring any meathead from the street for $15.00 per hour and raise pay, hiring more educated people.

Okay genius. Someone bangs on your door while another breaks your window. You're in bed, asleep and naked, as Robinson was.

What do you do?

Assess the situation, like a smart person. I certainly wouldn't just wake up, grab my gun and start shooting up my own house.

Are you saying that's what you would do? Seems pretty dangerous. What if your kid heard a noise and is walking into your room right when someone breaks your window? You'd shoot your own kid.

I'm not saying he handled it correctly. I'm saying this all could have been avoided if the police didn't use bullshite tactics. What evidence did they have that he had any drugs in his house? Why were they there? If they got a warrant and pounded on his door until he answered, nobody gets shot.

n pretrial documents, defense attorneys contended the drug charges against Robinson were deeply flawed. Not only does Robinson not have a criminal record, the DEA raid team failed to turn up any solid evidence linking Robinson to drugs or drug money, according to court documents.
During the raid, one set of agents banged on his door and another broke a side window. On being awakened, Robinson fired four shots at a wall by the broken window and then ran out a rear door, firing two times, according to evidence in the case.
It was a bullet from Robinson’s last two shots that struck DEA agent Wilson, who was in the back yard and who was wearing a DEA helmet and a bulletproof vest clearly marked “Police.” At that point, other agents yelled “Police!” and Robinson dropped his gun.
Had there been a trial, Robinson would have claimed in the few seconds after he woke, he believed he was the target of home invaders and only fired in self-defense. The government would have claimed he should have known it was a DEA raid because agents surrounding the house were yelling “Police!” and a car was in the front yard with a flashing blue light, according to legal documents.

Guess you have better info than I? Share it, please.

Was he sleeping with the gun in his hand? Or did he wake up when he heard a window break, grab his gun and then start shooting?

And in the time it took for him to get out of bed, grab a gun, and then fire 6 shots, the police weren't saying a word.

I'll wait for more facts to come out but this guy was stupid to just start shooting because he heard a noise.
