I'm the exact opposite. I started of knowing I'd disagree with a lot of his politics but being very hopeful that he'd use is position to improve race relations and be an inspiration to young black men. I really thought he had a great chance to be a positive influence on a lot of lives.

I grew to despise him when I saw that instead of doing that, he was going all in with the 'blame whitey and frick the police' movement.

I think Obama will be remembered by the majority as a mediocre or average at best POTUS. Now, obviously, liberals will view him as one of the best ever while conservatives will view him as one of the worst ever.

lic speaker. That's part of the problem--he had the charisma to honey-coat the poison he spewed, and people ate it up. Snake oil salesman of a president.

i think he's a cold aloof man. to me, Trump has charisma, Dubya, and Reagan had charisma.

he never sold anything, that's why Democrat party lost so many congressional seats and governorships.

Agreed, but Obama also has it. Unfortunately. He exploited it (and the American people) to the fullest

Trump's charisma carried the day in this election. But the reason the Dems had such a stronghold to begin with is because he Obama was extremely adroit at selling nebulous, superfluous poppycock like "hope and change."

i think the main reasno is he could turn out minorities like never before and there were a lot of white guilt / virtue signal votes for him.

i associate charisma with being funny or witty or a 'people person'. Obama is aloof, reserved, doesn't smile a lot.

his illegal executive order on immigration was probably the worst thing. he wud like to be a dictator like Hugo Chavez or Castro.

giving Iran a pile of money including a cash ransom for hostages is actually probably tied for 1.

also think his decision to not ban airplanes from countries with ebola epidemic is the craziest decision of all time.

here's a handy chart

I'll remember him as someone who had a tremendous opportunity to do good...and failed miserably.

His time in office was one largely of lawlessness and division.

Dude lost more Federal Lawsuits than any other President and that's with a stacked appointed Lesbian SCOTUS.

Interestingly his time in office expose large numbers of African Americans as racist.

Bottom Five Presidents,

1. Obama
2. T. Roosevelt
3. Wilson
4. Lincoln
5. FDR

Holy shite, I agree with you almost entirely.

Two points:

1) I think Obama was a willing and eager catalyst of the divisiveness that currently plagues our country, and this will be his legacy.

2) I think drone strikes are the half-assed crutches he's used to prop up his limp-dicked foreign policy.

You didn't make any mention of this - pure oversight, I expect - Obama's inneffective, and at times, apathetic if not isolationist stand on foreign policy has seen the US lose respect as a global power in eastern Europe and the middle east. Putin's weakness has always been in domestic affairs, and he's inflated the public image of himself by exploiting Obama's weaknesses as a commander in chief and as leader of the free world.

Of particular amusement is the MSM and Democratic party's current obsession with Russia, as Obama openly mocked Romney when he said in 2012 that Russia would become our greatest geo-political foe.

I knew I would hate Obama the President. At times I hoped I would like the man. I don't. In one breath, he weeped over American children murdered by a psychopath to promote his gun-hating agenda, then he haphazardly bombed multiple countries, relying much on second-hand intelligence. It's okay if innocent people die as long as they're not American.

It helped and fricked me. I never would have had my second knee reconstruction or wrist surgery due to pre-existing conditions under the prior system, but I'm a healthy male outside of my self-destructive obsession and I've seen my premiums rise.

Nothing but a grifter and narcissistic arse hole

An enemy within

A divider

Lawless and unqualified to be president

Liar, thief, deceitful, dishonest, dangerous....

Good riddance. I didn't hear one word of his speech. I rarely have listened to him the last 6 years or so. He was an embarrassment to our country. Get your shite packed and gtfo Barrack!

I will remember the Obama family as being dignified and strong in the face of hate and constant taunting. The love the President and First Lady showed for each other and, especially, for their children was refreshing and a role model for America's upcoming generation.

Have a happy retirement, Mr. President.
