Im really surprised none of the other fans got involved. I would have thrown that a-hole down the bleachers. Swift grab of the back of that jersey and that a-hole woulda gone down a couple flights of stairs.

This is why I don't go to games much anymore. Took my 81 year old FIL to the Florida Tennessee game a few weeks ago, and the people in front of us stood the entire game. When we asked them if they would sit down at least during breaks in the action, they cussed at us.
I like watching from home more and more. I know the atmosphere is different in the pros, but if you are older and/or have some health issue with standing, etc, I guess you need to avoid going to games.

I'm sorry you had that experience. Must have been in or near the student section. The majority of UF fans are not that way. When I'm at a game I will always look to see who's behind me and be as courteous as possible, even to the point of apologizing if I jump up for a good play. Some people just don't give a damn about anyone else and add in the alcohol factor and you get what is seen here. No excuse.

There are certain times where I'm gonna stand in a game. If the crowd is getting wild and the game is on the line, I'm not gonna be in my seat. If someone asks me to sit, I will do my best to do so. But certain plays that's just not going to happen. Cursing at other fans for that is not okay. And sucker punching someone is never ever okay. Dude is a POS.

It did turn out we had tix in the student section. Didn't know that when I bought them. Lesson learned. Pay up for unrestricted view seats if ever again.
