Didn't know you were supposed to do that. New people who sign up for the rant need an orientation manual. I'll go and introduce myself now.

Wow! Let it be known to anyone else like me who was observing the rant from afar. DON'T start an introduction thread and ask for permission to the team board before you do anything else. Also, you should automatically know how to do emoticons and copy posts.

How long did you say you've been lurking? Yet you pretend not to know that most people don't introduce themselves, that you have to request to post on team boards, and that "copying posts" is called quoting?

I didn't say how long I had been lurking. It's been a year or so. In all honesty, I did not know that you're not supposed to introduce yourself via a thread. I've never seen anyone else do it and get blasted for being an alter so I thought it would be ok for me. I can understand why people would be weary. Especially, if you've been trolled in the past. In fairness, I have seen people start intro threads and get "GFY" and "EABOD" but never accused of being an alter. I was expecting to be hazed some.

It's not common knowledge and I've never seen it discussed on the rant, OTB, OT, etc.
