I know it's a slideshow which sucks but here's the list:

1. Trump 4.5 billion
2. Florina 58 mil
3. Clinton 45 mil
4. Chafe 32 mil
5. Carson 26 mil
6. Bush 22 mil
7. Pataki 13 mil
8. Kasich 10 mil
9. Huckabee 9 mil
10. Gilmore $7mil
11. Webb $6 mil
12. Jindal $5 mil
13. Cruz $3.5 mil
14. Christie $3 mil
15. Paul $2 mil
16. Santorum $2 mil
17. Graham $1 mil
18. Sanders $700,000
19. Rubio $100,000
20. O'Malley $0

Carson being so high surprised me. Apparently he sat on the board for Kellogg and Costco. And LOL at Sanders' platform if that number is true.

Funny how all these candidates worth millions talk about middle class issues.

Looks like Carson saved some money and invested it wisely. Rubio is broke but that's no surprise.

$700,000 net worth really isn't that much. I'm middle class as hell and probably come close to that factoring in all my assets, some of which were inherited.

Didn't realize Rubio was that poor, but I do remember reading he had a ton of debt.

I'm sure O'malley and Rubio's net worth is greater than listed here.

I mean 700k isn't that much, especially someone mid-career that has been contributing to a matching 401k. You could be firmly middle class and be right around that number if you didn't opt for the 3500 sq/ft custom built home and a new car every 4 years.

Yeah, I'm 43 and been in a 401k since I was 19. Also have an inherited IRA and some inherited land, though the land isn't worth a whole lot. My brother got the prime piece that's worth a lot more.

I did opt for the custom built home, but it was custom built by the previous owner and we bought it out of foreclosure. We've had equity in it since day one.

Wife's net worth is substantially more. She has a trust from her grandfather, but she can't touch it until she's 55.

So you're mad at Clinton for having too much money but also mad at Sanders for the distribution of his wealth and not having a lot?

Most politicians make their money after politics based on influence/insight. Rubio hasn't had that yet. Surprising he even has a positive net worth tbh

Career path
-Graduated College/Law School with ton of student loans (just paid off)
-Campaign staffer after law school
- City politician
-State legislator
-~2yrs Adjunct Professor FIU
-US Senator

Rubio will be able to cash in and make millions when he is done. He just hasn't gotten there yet. Also his Senate pension will be legit anyways so "savings" and "net worth" isn't super important

not at all. i'm a capitalist, good for her (unless, as believed, some of that money is ill gotten.) Just impressive that she hasn't "applied" for a job since 1992 and has millions. seems like it's a beneficial career.

Sanders and his proponents have advocated some things as crazy as Taxing people 70% plus at 250k+. Why doesn't he just give his money away to get to that point instead of forcing others to it. Unless he lives year to year on that 700k, he's obviously hoarding some for one reason or another.

Not directed at you in particular boogiewoogie, but there seems to be this weird gap where liberals like to blame the wealthy for the world's problems, but don't consider themselves wealthy, when they are.

Those numbers are their net worth, not their annual salary. It's basically their assets less their debts. I'd imagine the bulk of Sanders's net worth is tied up in his retirement account since he's been a Senator for so long. After typing that, I'm shocked it's that low for him.

Damn. Anyone who can't accumulate more than $700,000 in assets by the time they're 73 has no business running a country. I guess I see why he's running for President. It's the only job where a complete incompetent can make a decent living and live all-bills-paid.
