I worked in the coal mine at Oak Grove, Al for a USS sub. We were fusing plastic pipe together for them to pump water out of the mine. 1,500 ft straight down an elevator and then a 3 mile mine car ride to the job site.

I had to sign in and out every AM for my safety gear. It had a metal stamp on it with a number and I had to sign my name beside the number. After about a month, I asked the guy if I really had to keep signing for this as I'm obviously gonna bring it back. He said it wasn't to keep me from stealing the gear, but to identify my body in case of a mine collapse. Got paid $30/hr for that back in '95. Awesome money back then.

Got my real estate license and quit College so nothing there.

I did have one part time job a couple years later when real estate was a little slow. It was working tech support for a computer company. Nothing crazy about that except for one person. He called every single day with the same problem......because he had short term memory loss from an accident and never remembered that we talked the previous day. Many times, couldn't remember the beginning of the conversation.

Didn't work during the school year, but I worked as a telemarketer one summer. God I hated that job.

Had a photographer take pictures of me for money. That was the best job, though I hope some of those photos never make it to my social circles

I've worked as a personal trainer part time off and on. I've also worked as a property manager for HUD steadily for the past 2 years.

I was a stripper for a summer. My uncle had an antique restoration business. Oak and walnut were my favorite woods to work with. Mahogany, too, but my uncle usually handled those pieces.

I taught computer classes on an Indian reservation before they discovered gaming. The govt paid them to go to class. Most of them just wanted to sleep. Many of them couldn't type, which made teaching them anything computer related rather hard. Anyone that tried hard was called an apple (red on the outside and white on the inside.) We had security guards in the classes because they drank a lot and liked to fight each other with knives.

Worked full time at Kroger for 3 years in college. Everything from stocking, truck unloading, inventory management, cashiering, bagging, blowing up balloons, etc... That's not very crazy though.

I've had one job and I umpired baseball one summer, my very first game I had to throw someone out. So one of the teams were from a city that has a lot of trailers and just white trash people in general, well this lady's son in 8u, was afraid of the ball and every time I called a strike she would yell and complain. Well after the third time he got called looking, she took her sandals off and climbed up the fence behind home plate and threw and absolute bitch fit, she only weighed like 230 lbs lol. But she refused to get down and after like 20 minutes the fire department finally showed up to get her down. I couldn't imagine how embarrassed I would be if I was her son

Shoveled orange peels at Tropicana, graveyard shift 80+hours/week. During the season, they'll give you all the overtime you can handle. Then when the season ends, a lot of people get laid off.

I did that too, was my first job when I moved to Knoxville. Quit after 3 weeks, and became a server at Chesapeake's.

The only job I had during college was as a draftsman for a civil engineering company. I only did it during two summers and I was only taking one class each time.
