On phone and can't link but President Mark Keenum announced they will not take down the state flag of MS.
At least my alma mater has some balls to stand up to the PC bullshite, unlike the other schools in the state :shakesheadatOMandUSM:

I felt the same way about Atlanta Public Schools and Atlanta area congressional reps refusing to fly/display the 1956 Georgia flag. Finally it was changed via semi-popular vote.

There is nothing stating that universities are required to fly the state flag.

I just don't see how you can look at a flag and find offense automatically.
Now I can see how it can be used offensively but I don't think that's the case here. It's a state flag being flown by a state institution.
