I'm sure most of you have seen the clip of the Baltimore mother beating the shite out of her son after catching him rioting. She's now being hailed as some great mom. WTF?
How would this discussion be different if it was a father hitting his underage daughter in the face over and over again? He would be getting railed by the media for being a child abuser, and feminist frick toilets would be talking about violence against women.
I'm tired of the double standard.

As a father of daughters, if one of mine was throwing rocks at police in a riot situation, I would kick her arse like there was no tomorrow.
Hitting boys works sometimes. Almost never with girls. However, if they were actively doing something to endanger themselves and risk fatal injury, got damn right I would do whatever it took to get their attention and get them out of there.

Some double standards I'm ok with. This being one of them.
I'm fine with you spanking your kids (girl or boy). But if a man was beating on his daughter like this Mom did to her son then it would cause a lot more damage.

Generally speaking, the only time I consider it acceptable to hit a woman is if your life is in danger. If she's coming at you with a knife all bets are off.
