Whats up guys! A new MMJ thread to shoot the shite in.

What happened to the old one I started a while back? That one had a lot of good info in there.

=(

To give you guys an update, I've recently moved on from the greenhouses (3 acres big now) to the largest indoor grow in Tucson.

Couldn't be happier. Better pay, better management, better bud!

How is the rest of the OT doing, plant wise?

Needs to be legalized country wide, and I don't even smoke it. I can't. I would be fired if I did.

You're insane. Most people who smoke weed never go on to try other drugs. You really believed your D.A.R.E. officer, didn't you?

Kratom is far superior in the pain relief and anxiety factors. It is legal in Georgia and Florida, but a Schedule 1 (same as Cocaine and Heroin) in Alabama, South Carolina and Tennessee.

Go figure.

I would LOVE for weed to be legal, but Kratom isn't really that bad as a substitute.

It is pretty huge in Georgia right now, but they are trying to ban it by this January (2018), so get it while you can.

I like the euphoric values that it brings, and that shite lasts you like 7 hours.

But it's nothing like Spice was. Spice was terrible.

I just do Kratom right now and HOPE that at least 1 single State in the Bible Belt manages to de-criminalize weed. That is all it would take. Then we all could have weed once the ice is broken.

Alcohol is the gateway drug, not MJ. Nearly everyone has drank alcohol before smoking MJ because it's so socially acceptable.

If someone can post a study of meth/heroin addicts on if they first drank alcohol or smoked weed that'd be great. I haven't looked at any but as a heavy alcohol user who's smoked and easily quit smoking weed in the past, It's no debate that alcohol is literally 10 or 20 times worse than weed. Alcoholism is what destroys families. Smoking pot on other hand? Just lol.

Kratom solves all of that, in toleration.

It is especially meant for Heroin, Cocaine, and Pain Pill addicts.

It solves ALL of those withdrawals better than rehab. And still gives you something legal to take after the withdrawal...and the effects are really close to the same thing.

It is a leaf extract from Asia.

Really glad Georgia still has it. It is nothing like Spice. It is in a different world altogether.

Where was my knowledge of this in March? I would have paid top dollar to be high as giraffe pussy at the Final Four.

Yes kratom is good, but cannabis is a medicine. Hell I think if someone was were trying to quit opiates (not too sure on IV users tho), cannabis is good to help quit, at least in edible form. I've used it that way and it helps to take away from those body aches/etc and can even help you sleep. Combine that with some kratom and I'm sure it will get even better results than just either alone.

I can't wait until cannabis is legal to grow, as juicing a live plant is about the best way to get all the nutrients out. More potent than Vit C and Vit E Also if you juice it, it doesn't get you high unless you want it too. However you can take a much more higher dosage if you don't heat it, since if you were to get high it would limit the amount you would take.

Also I think it is quiet obvious that cannabis is the greatest plant on Earth. Is there any other plant that matches or out does this great plant?

Damn, you're right. It's gone. That was a great thread. A lot of great advice, and a lot of pictures. But I guess I should be happy they let it go on through last year's growing season. I'd have started it up again if I were still in Colorado.

I actually just got off work, and rolled up some of my purple dream. Though because of this nightshift, I've gone through my indica much faster than expected. Especially when I was trying to flip my body clock.

I can't provide a ton of advice compared to teamJackson, and some others that will show up if someone asks a question. But my harvest turned out pretty great. I learned a lot about the plant itself and buds. More than ever I did in 20+ years of smoking, and even selling nuggets back in high school.

Now I can'tv help but laugh when I hear someone say, "you just gotta throw a seed in the ground."

Yeah, throwing a seed in the ground will grow some plants. But to grow weed that you really enjoy smoking, takes a little bit of work. But it's damn well worth it. Hopefully someone from those legal states finally decides to pull the trigger, and gets this thread rolling again.

Because of the DARE officer lying about it, I tried other drugs.

You not in colorado still cc? Crazy what you learn after just 1 full season. Indoor is great cause you can cram half a decade of learning into 1 year lol.

Teamjackson, still my only friend on the gram... haven't been on in months to check out what y'all got going on. I'll have to look into this soon. My buddy in Scottsdale just had his first kid, and he only uses ig, so I've been getting guilted there. Florida has kinda taken the Arizona model, we only have 7 state sanctioned cartels producing marijuana. Kinda sucks, but i know what's coming soon. My old man recently retired, and i want 0 part of running a construction company...so I've actually started school again. Gonna end up at uf (fricking yuck, but whatever) for horticulture. What degrees do y'alls sr growers have? I've been looking at crop production or organic crop production, but plant health seems like it could be more desirable on a resume.

Pass that this way. What about Snoop's Dream? I heard that was a cross between Master Kush and Blue Dream. I like both strains separately, and can only imagine them together.

Ayyyyyyeeeee big pimpin, glad to see you around. Lol gotta get on the gram again brother, although you won't see anything from my new grow yet. PM me your number and I can send you some pretty cool pictures.

Our indoor facility is massive and we are taking all the right steps building it out.

Currently have 1400 plants vegging, then flipping to them next Monday.

It is crazy going from greenhouse to indoor, it's a lot different in several areas, but the overall idea remains the same: better topping leads to better node development which leads to better bud.

Still, the absolute hardest part of growing is the drying and curing process. And hiring individuals with a decent IQ and work ethic lol.

I have my Bachelors in Broadcasting - Radio/TV/Film. Haha, 4 years ago I fell into this MJ game and haven't looked back (I had a successful career with my degree though, just thought about making this leap to a different industry, really glad I did).

If you want to research our dispensary, google Downtown Dispensary in Tucson. One of the better ones in the state tbh. I'm the head grower for them.

Burning CO2 and having industrial level AC with hepa filters and dosatrons = hnnnnggggg.

Our computerized watering system is so dialed in its scary.

Yeah, I took a job in Arkansas. Managed to get a 50% raise in a place with 1/3 the cost of living as Co. So I've been working my arse off and saving money. I'm hoping get back to Nola.

And you're aren't kidding about how much you learn in 1 season. Plus, I grew 11 strains. And it's amazing how different strains grow differently, especially when flowering. I'll eventually go indoor when my life returns to normal. Until then, it's 70 hour weeks and saving as much as I can.

How is this a problem? It seems like it would be a great job to learn, and have potential in.

Don't come over on this board often, but saw the thread. I should be getting my card soon. I'm in Illinois, this wait seems like forever. The dispensary that helped me said its about a 40-45 day wait. Tomorrow is 30, I assume I'll get my card next week.

You'd be very surprised. I've noticed work ethic isn't one of the top priorities in the Arizona work force.

Good luck with the card, that wait is ridiculous!
