SIAP but pretty cool video of Medal of Honor recipient, Kyle Carpenter (who I think was a freshman student at USCe this past year) recounting his story to the men's soccer team. I'd be proud as hell to have him as a fellow student

That is about the most honest description of combat,survival and recovery I have ever heard, and I have heard a few for sure.

Thanks for this. I had seen Cpl. Carpenter speak before, and every time somebody sneaks up behind me and starts cutting onions. 40 surgeries and he's like, "Well, that's the job."
Congrats to USC for getting this guy on campus. He's going to touch a lot of students in a positive way.

Well screwster, I am sorry that I didn't see your post, and sorry that you didn't get any credit in the CPL's Medal OF Honor talk. Damn, you posted a link to his trials, you suffered right there with him. You deserve some credit!
