Meh. Someone fricked up technically. You can hear her saying her monitor isn't on. I thought she handled it okay, considering.

Even without monitors you should know your cue and sing through it. You can hear all those speakers just not as well.

I do have some experience in performing live (you're just going to have to take my word for it, without any details). Basically, you don't hear what the speakers are playing until several seconds after they play them.
If you try to start singing with the speakers, everyone else is going to hear you 2 seconds behind what the speakers are playing. And, it's even worse outside.

Nah I know you're right, I honestly didn't know she had no monitors. This has happened multiple times with big shows like this no? This is yet another reason to pay musicians and have them instead of saving money with backing tracks.
