This new thing opened off up Dickson. I've seen this on TV, but I've never done one in person. It gives me a little anxiety thinking about it. Anybody done this before? did you like it?

Can't imagine why anyone would pay money to do that.
Then again, I thought e-readers were a fad, so what do I know.

People play D&D into their 40s these days. This seems fun by comparison.

No, but one of my wife's friends has been pestering my wife for us to go to one with her and her husband.
I've held strong against it, mostly because I don't like her husband one bit. Seems like it'd be okay with a group of people you like and you were drunk/high.

Breakout Birmingham opened up here not too long ago. Everyone I've talked to coming out of it seems to have really enjoyed it

I did one in Birmingham called Locked In with some friends. It was fun. Kinda easy but we had a good time. You can leave the room if need be (bathroom, make phone call, freak out, etc). I would only go if I knew most of the people though.

I thought the same, until I bought a used one for like $20. But for reading it's great. Battery lasts forever and there's no glare

That sounds incredibly Japanese.

Yeah, its supposed to be a great team-building exercise. They have different scenarios (museum heist, casino, etc.).

We did the zombie one in Atlanta and had a blast. I would imagine that it's a one time thing though.

The one in Birmingham has three different themed rooms and says they have another thirty or so on the shelf that they will begin rotating in as sales of a given room decline.

I did this in Orlando with coworkers and we all had a blast. Far exceeded anyone's expectations.
