I'm gonna be in Kentucky in October and since I love bourbon I figured I should check a few of the distilleries out. Is it really worth it? Are they all the same? Any other things in that area to check out? I'm going to have 2-3 days free to explore.

It was suggested to me that the 4 Roses and Wild Turkey distilleries were must-sees, while the others were just okay.

Got excited when I saw the Breeders Cup will be at Keenland while I'm there, but then I saw ticket prices on StubHub. Kentucky does play Tennessee in Lexington so I may check that out.

Not all bourbons are the same so not all production methods are the same. If you're a bourbon connoisseur, you'll have a great trip. There's something for everybody but obviously it's mainly for adults.
