This thread has been surprisingly civil and intelligent, given it being about politics. Why can't most threads be like This?

Yup. Politics is driven by division.

Exactly. It isn't enough to disagree on policy anymore. The politicians and media turn everything into a moral conflict. Pro-Abortion people must hate babies, not just thinking that the govt should stay out of pregnancies. Pr-Life people are waging war on women, not defending unborn lives.

People who want the govt out of healthcare are hateful and want poor people to die in the gutter, not just people who think the economic cost is potentially ruinous or that the govt should stay out of it. People who want govt involvement are shiftless commies who want to be coddled, not just people that think it is a good idea for society.

I'm a conservative and both sides have idiots. People on both sides need to find a way to come together and quit creating a divide.

The conundrum is that both sides realize they've got some idiots but neither wants to be the first to eject them and their influence. It usually takes a scandal of this magnitude for either side to say, "Well, that's just too extreme," about one of their supporters. So, in effect the extremists (idiots) are running the politics of America. Time to get back to the middle!

I'm surrpised MSNBC and CNN aren't battling for her services as primetime anchor. Their bias knows no bounds.

"CNN has terminated our agreement with Kathy Griffin to appear on our New Year's Eve program," spokesman Shimrit Sheetrit confirmed to USA TODAY in a statement Wednesday.

The network used even stronger language a day earlier: "We found what she did disgusting and offensive," read a statement sent to USA TODAY Tuesday night by Sheetrit. "We are pleased to see she has apologized and asked that the photos be taken down."

your bias knows no bounds, kywildcatfanone.

a) She either doesn't know how stupid she looks

b) She is trying to win back her liberal friends after yesterday's withdrawal from the Paris Accord

Considering I posted that before they made the announcement, I would say it's your bias that is showing.

In fairness to me, I didn't know she even worked for CNN. While I'm surprised they removed her, I am glad for it. Can we get Wolf to hold it for a picture?

In all fairness, Wolf Blitzer wouldn't do a photo shoot wear he's holding a severed head of the POTUS.

I saw that. Very odd. But, did you really expect her to take responsibility for her actions.

Yeah she is saying the Trumps are ruining her life and that her lawyer is saying they are trying to violate her free speech. No one said you can't post that picture, you are just pussying out on the consequences of doing so.

Yep.

Just when you thought there was no way she could make her situation worse, she managed to pull it off.

So typical of kooks, rightwing or leftwing. They refuse to accept the consequences of their actions.

While I know it's "The Donald", he is the POTUS, and if a non celebrity posted a picture of themselves holding a beheaded POTUS, they would get more than bullied by the Secret Service, they would be in jail.

She's an idiot in a number of ways. Her "celebrity" is what has kept her out of jail.
