...to try an attack like that in an American city with an armed populace. It will turn out very differently compared to what happened in Paris.

Just what we need. Poorly trained radicals going up against a bunch of gun toting amateurs. It would be a comical shootout at the OK coral between the 3 Stooge's and Tom & Jerry.

Poorly trained? Do you realize how many of your neighbors and older relatives are Marines, SF,etc..?

I think maybe, 'you, are the poorly trained one.

By the way, news (one of the "liberal" sites) was saying at least one of the terrorists in this attack got to France as a 'refugee'.

In major cities you have to be trained in order to have a concealed carry permit. They wouldn't be "amateurs". It's better to have those "gun toting amateurs" than a bunch of unarmed citizens who are helpless.

I do have extensive training...anyone that has CC licensing goes through some training.

Or maybe you are referring to poorly trained local police forces?

Ha.

They attacked the most liberal, prog parts of Paris.

I could see something like that happening in SF with few problems. Hell, most American cities are vulnerable to that type of attack.

The problem is that our leaders want this type of stuff to happen. They take no actions to prevent it, except as a sidebar to taking away more of our own freedoms.

Light candles, change facebook pics, tweet hashtags. Nothing will change.

They knew exactly where to attack...strong gun control carries a bullseye with it.

The #PrayForParis shite was really pissing me off last night. Anthony Jeselnik has a good bit about that sort of thing and it made the Reddit front page today:

Marine Officer from where? Maint. Div. down at Albany?

He damn sure doesn't have much faith in Marines,if he wants to doubt us old ones.

I was already SF before I even decided to go in The Corps,it was a new world, even for me.

One thing I am not: "untrained"

You live in the same area as I do,if all of you neighbors are rich, upwardly mobile types, you might be right.

Don't let their male Vaginajuice rub off on you.

If they do, it'll be in one of the "progressive, enlightened" cities north of the Mason-Dixon Line or the west coast.

True...cities like Dallas and Oklahoma City sure wouldn't have that ISIS bullseye on them.

Most major American cities are full of sheep. They'll be slaughtered.

Most people that have Concealed Carry Permits don't carry everyday, everywhere and the few that do carry are woefully under armed against AKs and ARs.

Still, you have potentially hundreds of armed citizens in a large metro city against a handful of terrorists. Would definitely make a difference.

True...but at least somebody concealing would have a fighting chance instead of forced slaughter.
