Johnny Manziel allegedly struck ex-girlfriend several times during an incident

After arriving at the apartment complex in Fort Worth, Manziel's ex-girlfriend told police she was running in and out of her apartment to get away from the QB. Police say she became irritated and increasingly uncooperative with their questions.
The woman told officers that Manziel fled the apartment complex on foot. Police dispatched a helicopter to search for him. According to the report, police called Manziel's cell phone multiple times and received no answer. They also called Manziel's parents in an effort to locate him.

I remember the 2012 season when he was a Freshman who came out of Nowhere, East Tx and wasn't allowed to talk to the press. He was a little country boy who liked to play football and we didn't know anything about him other than that.
I'm sure he misses those days too.

My little brother did (teammate of his at the time). He couldn't stand him (and my brother is a people person kinda guy). Said he was a great player, but a selfish, spoiled douche.
He was absolutely right.
And, for the record, Johnny's ex was batshit crazy, too. But an intelligent person realizes after awhile that as a celebrity, they can't keep the company of those who'll keep them from accomplishing their goals. Manziel has shown repeatedly that he prefers to run with the wrong crowd, with predictable results. Plus, let's not pretend that what his ex alleged is outside the realm of probability when it comes to Johnny.

Who knows if what she says is true, and I know plenty of folks who grew up with the Crowleys so I'm taking the wait and see approach before assuming he's guilty, but I bet 20 years from now John Football is going to be a cautionary tale telling folks how much he screwed up a golden opportunity. Dude cannot stay out of his own way
