Is the phrase "Country Roads" the same in Japanese as it is in English? I could swear I heard them say "Country Roads"...

I did a lot of karaoke while in Japan and some songs sound weird. I always got real drunk which made it bearable. They don't have a translation for many English words, like radio (ladio) and gasoline (gasorine). Those are just two that come to mind.
Iirc, west is "nishi" in Japanese. It sounded like that's what they said in the vid, nishi Virginia.
