I've gotten back into the gym after a couple of years off due to injury.

Anyone have any suggestions for any supplements that help with adding mass and with recovery?

I don't trust your opinion since you appear to be blind.

No Xplode, Syntha-6 and creatine This is what I use and I am back in the gym after a shoulder surgery and knee surgery . I lost 30 pounds while out of the gym and this works getting the mass back on. Also find the weight you want to be at and find that calorie intake and eat that amount everyday.

Ive been pretty limited myself the past couple of months. Have a nagging left shoulder injury in which i have no clue how i got. When i do regular flat bench there is no problem. When i try incline i can barely do any weight. Of course any type of shoulder press is completely out of the question. The funny thing is that i can do dumbbells for both lateral and front raises.

Stack that with cheesy poofs and snacky cakes.

Just fyi, adding mass is kind of overrated (unless you're naturally a skinny person). Maintaining it is the hard part and can be a bitch.

Good luck with the post-recovery workouts. Don't push your body too hard at the outset and injure yourself. Ease your body back into the routine of regular strenuous exercise

A good starting point of what you need
whey isolate protein
branch chain amino acids
essential amino acids
creatine monohydrate
hmb
powder or liquid multivitamin
electrolytes
plenty of fluids
flaxseed oil and fish oil
4 sets of 8. 4 second negative with 1 second positive on each rep of a set. 40 second rest between each set
3 drop sets after the 4 sets of 8 on 3 to 4 exercises while in the gym. no rest or up 10 second rest between each set
make sure you have correct form on each set
lean protein and complex carbs within 30-45 minutes after workout
when you go to sleep at night get some casein protein in your stomach within 2 hours of going to sleep

eta: workout a minimum of 30 minutes, with 40 minutes being an optimum time range. after 40 minutes your hormone levels start dropping. if you go over 40 minutes you need to take a carb supp and some BCAA's in the gym with you to sustain you

I have had great results with BSN products. Stopped using Cellmass though and stick to straight creatine.

Creatine is a funny product to me. It essentially just gets you muscles to absorb more water. I have some and haven't started taking it yet. I'm going to wait until I drop a little more fat.

everyone should be taking creatine imo. it helps you retain muscle, helps lubricate your joints, enhances brain function, and many other things

6 side effects of creatine myths debunked

MYTH 1 CREATINE CAUSES KIDNEY AND LIVER DAMAGE

Fact: There have been numerous studies conducted on creatine supplementation, all of which have concluded long-term creatine use does not appear to have any negative side effects on the liver or kidneys.

There is no truth to the occasional rogue media stories claiming that creatine causes kidney stones or liver failure. Most of the concerns about the safety of creatine supplementation revolve around how well the kidneys are filtering blood.
