Is Pioneer Being Too Cheap

Went to the movies to buy the popcorn Tub for $20 and get a redbox movie for $1.50.
After you buy the popcorn tub anytime after that you can get it refilled for $4.
So lately pioneer has been going to the movie concession stand to get popcorn in his popcorn tub that he bought. After that he gets a redbox movie for $1.50 and then goes home.
TLDR: Pioneer buys popcorn at the movies for $4 and a redbox movie for $1.50 and goes home. He saves

How the frick do you get to the concession stand without buying a ticket? How do they not see you walk in with a bucket?

I hear movie theatres make most off the concessions so they probably love that you come in there to buy cheap popcorn for $4.

Why are you being paper thin? Most theatre's rip your ticket at the door before you can step into the lobby.

The movie theatre here rips your ticket at the front door. You'd have to walk right past the ticket dude to get to the concession stand.
Sounds like a lot of hassle for popcorn. Just buy a pack at the grocery store. You can buy a 32 pack of Orville for $35. Cheaper and less hassle.

It depends on the theater. Some of the theaters here you have to purchase and they take your ticket at the door (especially some of the bigger multiplexes). Others you can purchase in the lobby and access the concession stand, then give your ticket as you exit the lobby into the area where the theaters are set up.

Weird. I don't think I've ever been to a theatre that takes your ticket at the front door. I guess I can see the confusion in this thread then.
