I still want to know why the Taco Casa on 280 closed. I ate there at least once a week.

I've been going to the Taco Casa off Lakeshore for at least 6-7 years and never knew there was another Birmingham location . I love it

Yeah, that Zaxby's on 280 next to NTB used to be a Taco Casa. It closed about 10 or so years ago with no explanation. Open one day, closed the next. I asked the manager at the Lakeshore one once why it closed, and he claimed he didn't know.

Maybe the manager of the 280 location was dealing weed out of the drive thru window like the manager of the Guthrie's on 31 in Vestavia that closed years ago. Word was that was one of the reasons they closed that Guthrie's down

If that is true, he was probably selling on behalf of the Guthrie family.

Not so sure about that. Heat Pizza Bar is great and is crawling with scenery every time I've been there. It's appropriately named.
