I know that feeling. That was me two weeks ago driving back to Kansas from the great frozen north. Passed through Des Moines around 1AM. Decided to take a break at a rest stop just south of town on 35, sat in my car checking my phone and woke up at 7AM.

Fun but was it good?
I thought the first one was somewhat entertaining in the way a baby probably finds television entertaining...there were a lot of moving parts and colors and shite but it was a bad movie IMO. TBH. IIRC.

That is quite the subjective question, is it not?
I enjoyed it. But I also enjoyed the first movie and liked the books.
I don't pretend to have impeccable taste in cinema tho. Tbird Likes What He Wants and all that jazz

Yea I know, I'm the same way. I'll end up watching it even if everybody pans it because I dig anything dystopian.

Corpus will probably be a little crowded but not too bad. I never went anywhere on my spring breaks tho so take what I say with a massive grain of salt

I suppose I have an appetite for that subject matter as well. Main reason I like the Hunger Games and Maze Runner too.
I like seeing the imagination behind all those very different worlds.
I'm also very easily entertained

Hey if a Nazi started a thread just for white people and we all gladly participated is that bad?

Same which is why I kind of disliked divergent and hunger games. It's like they took every dystopian trope in existence, everything that's already been done to death, and just bolted on teenage girl coming of age stories. They're fricking boring and played out. Neither of those stories is new or innovative but I still eat that shite up because I like to imagine how humanity would function in a society with radically different or no rules.

Depends on the type of participation.

Same here.
I guess I don't watch movies to be blown away by innovative storytelling. If it's there, great, but I'm usually focused on the other stuff.
Dang Aggiebelle had be observing the fashion styles of the different factions in the movie tonight

I hear you, Im the same way with movies. That's why studios love our demographic.
Is the plot any good?
No.
The acting can fix that right?
Nah it's not that great either.
Well what does it have?
A ton of action, fighting, shooting, explosions, etc...
Awesome, the 18-26 yr old males will love it!
Not that there's anything wrong with that. Movies are a form of entertainment. I'll take action any day. I watched that highly lauded Birdman flick a couple weeks back and it was torture.

Damn, was it mediocre? Was considering renting that.
And yeah I'm with you. If the action is done well and the acting/story is adequate, I'm not too picky. Most movies just aren't going to blow you away unless they resonate with you for different reasons.
Last movie I flat out adored was Interstellar.
