Perhaps my view is far more optimistic than most, perhaps I enjoy the sun and the noise the winds makes against the trees more than most.

people like OP think they're on a higher intellectual plane than others and think they see some deep seeded, secret paradigm that is unbeknownst to the rest of the world. Makes them feel smart I guess.
The world is awesome man. Go outside. Play in a park, hang out with friends, visit your family, take in a ballgame, get real drunk, listen to music, read a great book, go for a drive, head to the beach....there are soooooooooooooo many awesome things about living. But some people just want to say "you're all sheep! Open your eyes!" as if they have some secret to nirvana or something. Actually, there is a secret; ignore the bullshite and do what makes you happy.
