If I get another opportunity to do a Disney weekend with a 12 person group

Hard pass.
7 kids, 5 adults. It's been like herding fricking cats for the last 2 days, 1 more day to go.
I don't even want to know how much money we've spent so far.

Went back in January with about 8 people. I spent $50 on a buffet meal at chef mickey's that consisted of chicken nuggets and Mickey mouse shaped macaroni and cheese. The place is a black hole when it comes to your money

Yeah, we're at the Contemporary too.

Be smart with how much you use those bracelets. That shite adds up

We used to go with my Mom's side of the family growing up (11-12 of us when my brother was still alive, not including cousins and their rotating door of boyfriends). I know those feels.

So, I've never been to a Disney theme park. Never understood the obsession, and I don't think anyone in my family ever really did either. Growing up in Dallas, I got my fair share of rollercoasters at Six Flags. Even down in San Antonio at Sea World a few times. But paying for a plane ticket to Orlando, having to stay in their crazy expensive hotels, and then get gouged like crazy just to experience Six Flags with Mickey Mouse ears? No thanks.
Now. If I ever have kids, and Star Wars Land(or whatever they are gonna call it) is awesome, I might reconsider my no-Disney life.

I've also been "randomly selected" for additional screening at every park we've gone to
To be fair, I do have a tan and my beard is a little out of control.

It must be 140° out there now. Disney sucks in a hundred different ways, but it's one of the reasons we have no state income tax here in Flaw-rida so I guess they can stay.

I love Disneyworld. The mouse knows how to do hospitality right.
Having said that, Disney with a group of 12 in the heart of a Florida summer? Just shoot me instead.
Go in the fall and cull the herd you take. It will be a totally different experience. Great weather and much smaller crowds.
As far as the cost, as someone else said those bracelets can get way out of control. To stay on budget, we don't link them to a card so we aren't tempted to go nuts.

Disneyworld is the bee's knees fo sho. Been there twice (last year and the year before), and hoping to go again in a couple of years.
Been only myself and my wife when we've gone, though. Idk how we'd do in a group. Would depend on how much freedom we had to go and do our own thing when we wanted, I guess.

I enjoyed it as a teenager. I'd like to take the kids once but when I can trust my 6 year old not to pet the gators or wander off to the free candy van.
Don't care if it's too soon. Kid could find a way to get separated from me in a closet.

never go on a multifamily road trip to something like disney.
The beach is manageable because you can just chill and drink

Meanwhile, my 8 year old nephew has been burying his face in the tits of every adult/adolescent female on this trip. I know he's not aware of what he's doing, but everyone has noticed this little motorboatin son of a bitch.
It's honestly gotten weird, because I don't know how to handle the situation, other than by making jokes. I don't know how to inform my sister that her son is constantly "going for 2".
At first I wanted to give him a high five, because he can get away with that shite because he's 8, but now it's almost gotten creepy.

Melungeons do look Arab so it's understandable.
