A friend of mine is a deputy and he decided he was going to start issuing citations to drivers who held up traffic. I'm talking about the ones who ride in the left lane, driving side by side with cars in the right lane and never speeding up. He issued 17 citations in a span of 5 days. He told me when he pulled vehicles over he would ask for the normal stuff (DL, insurance, registration)and then asked where they worked and how far they still had to go. Once he hears that work on the Southside part of the county and that they still had 12+ miles to go, thats when he'd inform them of the citation of "impeding the flow of traffic". He then would explain the rules of the road. The look of disbelief on the people's faces was very rewarding and therapeutic he said.
$190 fine is what he said the cost of the ticket is when asked.

You are the problem OP. back when i was a teenager, when i would finally get around people like you and cut you off, i would hit my brakes pretty hard. They got the message haha. Looking back, it was retarded on my part. Had a couple of guys not take too kindly that.

If you're in the left lane and passing someone while doing the speed limit, I'm going to be patient with you until you get around the vehicle you want to pass. However, if you don't get back into the driving lane and let me around you I'm going to join that young African-American gentleman in giving you a middle finger salute.

This is pretty stupid, but I do get pissed when I'm doing 75-80 and actually passing and some baw comes behind me trying to go 85-90 and rides my arse

Hey dumbass, if you CAN move over into the right lane you should. Don't linger in the fast lane. And if you are in the fast lane next to someone also going 70mph, don't block the whole fricking interstate. Either speed up and get in front of them or slow down and get behind them.

People typically accelerate when they're passing someone in the left lane. If you were going "just" the speed limit then it suggests you're under it when you're not passing. So stay over in the right lane.
I'd get my arse ran off the road if I was going "just" 70 in the left lane of I-265 (speed limit is 70, 65 in some parts).
