Sup crackers? Got any questions? Interested in the biz?

This can now be a thread about growing techniques, tricks and tips.

Which posters here partake/medicate?

All non-believers, let's debate... maybe? (Just now saw the thread about MMJ a couple threads down)

Just saying hello from a long time lurker and a life long SEC football fan... who's been stuck in the desert now for 3 years (PAC 10 douche bags are no fun)
Edit: frick the Vols

I took a trip to Colorado a few weeks ago and checked out some dispensaries. I purchased some "girl scout cookies", 80% sativa - 21% THC.. Let's just say my trip was thoroughly enjoyed. I'm a huge fan of sativas, and I also enjoyed the edibles a lot.

We visited some friends in Colorado Springs then drove down to Durango on our way to the Grand Canyon. Beautiful drive.

Right on. I'm located in Arizona. The Grand Canyon is literally the most amazing sight these eyes have ever seen.

Yeah, it was great. We lucked up and got a back-country permit for Bright Angel. We walked up to the counter at the back-country office, asked if any were available, she said no, then right at that time someone canceled.. Overall, an excellent trip, we just over packed, so the hike was harder than it should have been.

Sweet. I have a couple questions.

I have some clones in my backyard that I transferred into 1 gallon pots. I'm planning on eventually transferring them into 10 gallon felt bags.

I'm currently using Dr Earth's Pot of Gold organic potting soil (I wish I'd have done a 50/50 mix with peat, but found out after I'd transferred them. I'll do that what I do my next transfer.

Any recommendations on nutrients and using pesticides? I'm trying to keep things organic if possible, but really just want good quality buds more than anything. I'm also curious how often I should water them.

And since it sounds like a blizzard might come this weekend, any advice on what I should do while they're inside for a couple days?

So you a high count, smaller plants or big plants/lower count type ordeal? With that what sort of setup y'all running? I'd give 1 nut to legally run 25 plants in 100 gallon smart pots here.

Will the cartels be able to adjust to a corporate culture when weed is decriminalized?

Yo Cctider, I'd hit up Craigslist and see who had the best preanmended soil by the yard... buy 1 and stop worrying. Just topdress as needed. If you have great soil you should not need fertilizer or additives. At worst some earthworm compost tea every 10 days. And I'm betting going outside this early you'll go into flower then reveg at that latitude.

I'm very excited about growing for my first time. I've smoked for longer in my life than I haven't, but never wanted to risk the felonies. But going weed plant shopping last weekend was an awesome, surreal experience. And driving home with 8 weed plants on the floorboard of my car was fun too.

I'd love to have a couple indoor plants, but don't have the space.

Once drove 50 miles, with garbage bags taped over 5 gallon buckets, with a whole truck bed full. 25 plants going Al Qaeda prisoner style to a new location after I was partially raided. Definitely did this right after sundown lol.

The weather has been good lately 70s in the day and mid 40s at night. We just have a random blizzard rolling in. I figured I'd bring them in my kitchen, though they won't get great light for a couple days.

I'm curious if I'll get much bigger plants using 10 gallon bags vs 5 gallon bucket.

I have tossed some shredded mulch on top to prevent the soil in my pots from drying out. It can get a little windy in Boulder, so I'll be ready to pull them in when things get windy.

I know Dr earth makes a great potting soil. I've heard you don't need to add much, but maybe some nutrients like earthworm casings or guano. But I don't know shite about gardening. If I wasn't in the suburbs, I'd grow way more and test things out.

So far my stains are NYC Diesel, Sour Diesel, Blue Dream, Mango Haze, Purple Urkle, OG Kush, Cali-O, and Mango Tango. I'd like to find a Gorilla Glue, Durban Poison, and a 1:1 cbd/thc clone (but I might have a lead on a harlequin clone, which is a little higher cbd than I prefer, but I can always turn it into a concentrate.

They are losing half of their revenues, so yeah. And they already have. Must Mexican pot farmers started growing poppies instead. That, and they've actually switched to importing high grade cannabis into Mexico. As it's legalized nationwide, shitty Mexican weed will go extinct like the dinosaurs.
But they'll find shady to make money off of. I think they've taken over a lot of the farming industry, which led to the line shortage s few years ago.
