I took a quarter of an Adderall earlier today.

Then after it wore off, I drank a lot of coffee.

Now that I'm tired, everything I'm reading on these message boards, I'm imagining in slowmotion, and the voice is like everything is being read aloud by Assy McGee.

Anybody else experience anything like this?

Was on it for 5 years in my 20s

It's legal speed. I loved it

Lost 25 lbs, ate whatever I wanted but I hated being so dependent on it so I quit cold turkey

It's good shite but scary. I gained 10 lbs first month off of it. I remember having the most ridiculous cravings. I would literally drool at my desk craving shite and start sweating. It was freaky

I used to take it to help study. Different effect for me. Always made me not hungry and I'd basically have to force myself to go eat

Yes, but I imagine it all being read by Ally McBeal.

Addy is great when you needa get shite done. The comedown though almost makes it not worth it, you feel like shite and it makes you really depressed. At least it did for me

I had severely bad ADHD as a kid so I used adderal, daytrana, concerta, I've done it all. It was always funny to me because the medicine only made me focus but when I sold 1 or 2 to my friends during exam week they freaked out when they were on it. It shows only take medicine your prescribed for

Yeah I took it for a while for ADD and it just made me feel like a zombie, while also helping me focus. I hated the way it made me feel and quit taking it. Nasty stuff, though it did help my condition.

Used to get it in college. Was one of the best things I'd ever had. It amped me up and made me super detail oriented. It also made me chatty. I need to get some more to help with work now. Good times.

I am taking it for the first time in my life.

Doctor prescribed.

It is weird. I only take on one project at a time.

Not sure I like it. I think I preferred getting distracted by shiny things.

I take Concerta for ADHD. All it does is let me sit in one place long enough to finish the job and improves the focus a little.

I don't see any recreational benefit, it's not like it's fun.

For people who actually need it, it often sucks and makes them feel "zoned in" or zombie like (but capable of focusing). People who don't actually need it can also get focused, but they also have a more "pleasurablee" experience from it.

The problem is that maybe a quarter of the prescriptions floating around out there for ADD medicine are actually written to people with true ADD. So many stinking kids on it because their parents want them to have academic steroids and are frustrated by their lack of performance. Hello? School is freaking boring, especially in the context of the insane amount of visual/auditory overstimulation they're accustomed to.

I only took it to party, never as a study aid. I didn't want to abuse it.
