What an awesome place.

Seeing it on TV does not do it justice.

Guy I work with is on the board at Augusta. I wanted tickets badly. Sadly, clients scooped them up.

Pics please sir

Oh, and bring me a pimento cheese sandwich, too.

Also, Christies cookies out of nashville may or may not provide a select dessert there

You aren't allowed to advertise that as a vendor, but I got the inside scoop

Get you some

One of my vendors offered me tickets but I declined because it was not ethical.

I hear it is beautiful this time of year with everything in bloom and mild weather.

Neither my brother nor I own a digital camera. That is what Samsung Galaxy and iPhones are for.

Augusta National has a strict, very strict, no cell phone policy. You get caught with one and you will be escorted to the gate and whoever purchased the tickets (me in this case) will never again be allowed tickets in their name.

I did have a pimento cheese sandwich per custom. Cost a whopping $1.50

The golf shop is where they bust your arse, and you absolutely must buy souvenirs.

I was lucky enough to go a couple years ago. I always tell people to go, even if for a practice round.

I made my first ever trip yesterday as well. There's nothing I can say that hasn't been said already but it truly is a sight to behold. Top notch and first rate in every way imaginable. I knew about the phone policy so took a camera in and got a few, I"ll try to post a couple shortly

Yep, I went a few year back and just remember there was not a single leaf on the ground anywhere. It was immaculate.

I swear they must vacuum the course, fringe, and standing area daily. Oh, and the greens are ridiculously sloped. TV doesn't come close to showing the angle some of the greens have. Like putting on a billiard table on the side of a hill.

Would be fun to play once but if this was your home course it would get old five putting every green.

Nice. Thank you.

That grass is indestructible. All of that foot traffic and not a blade uprooted.

Amazing to me how reasonable the food prices are. I know they get you elsewhere, but you pay 2-3 times that for food and beverages at stadiums.

My brother and I had a guy tell us that those large concession stands are only there for the masters.

When we got to looking at them you can see they are constructed of panels bolted together. They disappear into storage all but one week of the year.
