Someone just died, someone about to die, etc.

It's never "We just won the lottery!"

And I dread answering the phone from my children. It is always to fix some problem for them. It is never to tell me everything is going great.

I dread answering the phone or emails from anyone but I'm just a lazy selfish prick.

My mom does constantly call me about relatives I've never met who have died.

I have a pretty good relationship with my parents so if they call it's usually just to check in and I appreciate it (on both ends).

Now phone calls from my trashy cousins are another matter. They're a bunch of lazy asses with no jobs, barely an education, a couple of illegitimate kids, and some serious entitlement issues. I had a major blow out with the youngest one (19 years old) a couple of days ago because she's using her living premature baby (the twin passed after two days, delivered at 24 weeks) as a pawn to try to manipulate my Grandmother and Uncle into handing her money and all kinds of shite. She's also threatened to stop eating enough to pump for the baby that's still alive if her parents don't hand her enough money for her and the baby daddy to eat. Neither have jobs and he's just off home incarceration for multiple theft charges.

She got super arse pissed when I called her on it after she showed up at my Parent's house on a whim with baby daddy who I've explicitly said is not allowed on their property because he can't be trusted. I'm now being told I'll never be involved in the baby's life or something.

It's just always drama and the reason I never answer when they call. I can just get the info from my Mom or my Grandmother.

I dread calls from my son. It's always because he wants money.

Tell him to suffer for a while. Or are you afraid of his momma?

You sound like a terrible ungrateful child. Maybe your family should go to counseling

And you're entitled too. It's people like you giving the rest of us millennials a bad name.

Now that you've been kicked off the Auburn board don't you think it's time to drop the shtick and quit pretending to be an Auburn fan?

And you should listen to pioneer, he knows his stuff

My posts convey that I'm an Auburn fan that had to occasionally school an idiot like yourself on the board. My degree from Bama is merely proof that I received the quality services that I paid handsomely for.

Never change, Bowl.

You would be literally the only person to think this. Whatever you have to tell yourself though, bud.

It's a unanimous consensus among every single other Auburn poster that you are a complete and utter dumbass. If you weren't and you were actually right half as much as you think you are then your constant arguing would've been okay and you wouldn't be exiled from the board right now.

Just getting back to sleep when mom calls at 4 am to tell me she is still alive

Sisters kid texts me at 5 am telling me they are in Bangkok with no follow up text

Now I am wide awake

Never change millennials, never change.

Actually change a lot. It's time to grow up.

My parents have been dead for over 20 years. I wish I still had them to talk to. It's all about perspective.

I normally talk to my parents every couple days. I'm sure that will slow down eventually. I'm 25, and my sister is about to graduate college, so there's normally a lot going on.

Death is nothing to feel terrible about. As natural as being born.

Millennial here. I extol the virtues of my parents constantly. They're my role models. Love talking to both of 'em.
