What are your best hangover cures. Right now I'm drinking a Bloody Mary after popping two Advil.

Hair of the dog, once you have a hangover it's the only thing that will help immediately. Everything else is a wives tale that just shocks your systemic helps with dehydration bit doesn't help the hangover. Gatorade for instance won't help one bit after the fact.
And don't mix alcohol with NSAIDs, very bad for your liver and can cause stomach bleeding.

Take two more Advil. I usually take 3, but if you're really hungover you can take 4. It's perfectly safe.

It's safe if he's not drinking with it.

If you're looking to avoid just more drugs or alcohol, BC powder and gatoraid is the best solution

Acetominophen toxicity usually isn't an issue until you get up around 4-5000 mg in one day which is 8-10 extra strength pills. That number is lower if your drinking with it though.

The best way is to prevent hangovers altogether.
1: Start hydrating the day before especially if you're gonna be outside and hot while drinking.ut piss should be crystal clear and frequent by the time you start drinking.
2: Eat before you start drinking, it slows the absorption and lessons the acetaldehyde load over a given time period.
3: Take a couple vitamin C pills throughout the drinking process. Acetaldehyde can generate free radicals which vitamin c neutralizes.
4: Don't have more than 3-4 drinks in any one hour.
5: At the end of the night, chug a Gatorade before bed.

Unless someone already has liver disease, taking normal doses with alcohol won't do more than temporarily stress your liver. The problem is most people think a normal dose is 4+ pills.

I have friends that swear by Pedialyte and Coconut Water. I haven't tried either.
If I get one I usually try to eat a decent breakfast and hydrate the rest of the day. I up my water intake when I'm drinking though and that usually helps avoid one.
