How often do you talk to your father?

I'm 33 and talk to my dad on the phone for about an hour everyday. We've always had a very open relationship and found similarities in our lives, and we like talking.
This is one of the things I'm happiest and most thankful for in my life.

On the phone at least once a week, by text everyday.

Does he worship Allah? If so, you should probably just kill him and get him out of the way. Save the world from his kind while you can.

Everyday. Although Mom normally dominates the conversation.

Not as much as I should. Still my best friend and the person I've always looked up to the most.

3 times a year usually. Father's Day. His Birthday (usually the week or sometimes day of Thanksgiving depending on year). And Christmas.

Probably average every other day between text, calls and in person. Sometimes more sometimes less. Parents only live about 30 minutes away, so that helps.

Once or twice a year. My dad came from a generation that didn't talk unless it was necessary.

He's dead. So, never.
Thanks for bringing me down, a-hole.

Once or twice a week. Always in person. We never communicate via text or phone unless it's for a purpose.
I love my dad, but we have a strange relationship. He's an Aussie, and one of those guys that sure as shite isn't gonna talk about feelings. He's a computer genius (and works for a data security company) and i'm nearly computer illiterate and have no interest in the field.
The only interests we share are sports and history. Needless to say, our conversations don't usually have a whole lot of substance to them. Not to say i dont enjoy talking to him, but sometimes theres just nothing to say.

Not enough
Every 2 weeks or less, I talk to my mom weekly or close to it. I know I should call more.

My father died 20 years ago. I think about him (and my mother) every day and miss them both. I wish they were still around to discuss my present life with them.
Enjoy the time you have with them, and don't take it for granted.

Dad: Once every couple of weeks.
Mom: Every. Single. Day. Love her to death, but she is notorious for turning a simple conversation into one that lasts 45 minutes to an hour.
