And how can nations on this planet who want to progress, allow it to happen? This is a circus. Muslims are a problem a progressive world can allow to continue how much longer? I'm not talking radicals, I'm talking any of them and any of it. The quran and the most "liberal", progressive of muslims still believes cheating in a marriage (arranged or voluntary), should result in public stoning.

How long can we let this go on before we start to slip from the ranks of the survival of the fittest because we didn't know how to deal with people cutting our heads off?

quote:

Egyptian court sentences 2 Al-Jazeera employees to death

CAIRO (AP) — An Egyptian court on Saturday sentenced six people, including two Al-Jazeera employees, to death for allegedly passing documents related to national security to Qatar and the Doha-based TV network during the rule of Islamist President Mohammed Morsi.

Morsi, the case's top defendant, and two of his aides were sentenced to 25 years in prison. Morsi and his secretary, Amin el-Sirafy, each received an additional 15-year sentence for a lesser crime. El-Sirafy's daughter, Karima, was also sentenced to 15 years in prison.

Morsi, Egypt's first freely elected leader, was ousted by the military in July 2013 and has already been sentenced to death in another case.

That death sentence and another two — life and 20 years in prison — are under appeal. His Muslim Brotherhood was banned and declared a terrorist organization after his ouster.

quote:

"They are more dangerous than spies, because spies are usually foreigners, but these are, regrettably, Egyptians who betrayed the trust," the judge said. "No ideology can ever justify the betrayal of one's country."

In Egypt, 90% of women are "circumcised," meaning their vaginas have been mutilated by cutting off the clitoris in young childhood.

We must all rise up and destroy Islam.

Which is the highest rate in the world, and yet it's "illegal" there.

The bible also says to stone women who get divorced.

Now I know this is 2016. But funny how that's forgotten but queers are a big no-no among American religion.

Pick and choose huh

It seems inexplicable until you look at the big picture. There are several aspects that explain the seemingly irrational attitude of liberal progressives in defense of Islam:

1. Votes. Liberal progressive Democrats never met a minority they didn't like/cater to.

2. Obama revealed a key aspect of his Transformation of America in his now infamous reference to the citizens of Pennsylvania clinging to their guns and religion. Guns and religion are the main barriers to the complete implementation of socialism in the U.S. Liberal progressives are smart people. They know Islam is radical by design through clearly stated tenants in the Koran, preached by Muslim religious leaders and practiced by millions of Muslims. And frankly considering most acts of terrorism are committed by Muslims you would to be a complete idiot not to realize this fact. As such:

3. Obama wants more Muslims in the U.S. knowing that there will be an increase in the number of terrorist acts which will provide leftists with ongoing incidents to push their gun control agenda.

4. Obama and liberals in general will continue paint the false narrative of moral equivalency between Christianity and Islam. We see this often on this board where brainwashed idiots conclude that Christians are just as radical as Muslims. So that at some point liberals will turn on religion in general including Muslims concluding that religious freedom cannot and will not take precedent over civil rights. In the not too distant future, the Supreme Court will rule in favor of homosexual couples who sue one or more churches/pastors who are not willing to perform their marriage due to their religious convictions.

No it doesn't. It does say that unless your spouse cheats on you or beats you, you cannot get divorced and remarried. You must reconcile your marriage or remain unmarried. Otherwise, you are committing adultery. I still believe that to be true. And a lot of people have a rude awakening in the next life. Just because society has changed its mind and says it's ok, doesn't mean God has changed His mind.

Actually Jesus said let he who has no sin cast the first stone.

Meaning we should not judge one another but rather love one another.

To be fair, this is an African problem, not a "Muslim" problem.

Ethiopia, a Christian nation, has female genital mutilation rates over 70%.

It is systemic to the previous religions in the region, which were "allowed" by the new, larger religions in order to keep new followers (like a lot of religious practices adopted by Christianity in Europe, only much less sadistic).

More accurately, your statement would be, "We must all rise up and destroy Central Africa."

A secular government that guarantees civil rights is the only form that can insure religious freedom as defined by the Constitution. Roughly speaking, one's rights, whether civil, religious or other, exist to the maximum extent until they pose a threat to another person's rights that are shared by all.

Religious activists in this country want special rights to insulate them from the public marketplace. The Constitution forbids that.

Bull. No gay couple has ever sued, nor will ever sue, a church or pastor who declines to perform a religious ceremony of marriage. Gay people may be the most educated minority in the country, especially regarding government.

They know the Constitution and its protections for religion. They know the boundaries for civil rights.

Wow, not the same thing at all. If male circumcision was equivalent to female circumcision, the glans of the penis would be removed so that no feeling could be experienced.

It's not the clitoral hood that's being removed, it's the clitoris itself. In male circumcision, only the foreskin is shortened. The glans is not affected.

I agree that it's an unnecessary procedure, except in some cases wherein a boy is experiencing phimosis, a congenital narrowing of the opening of the foreskin so that it cannot be retracted. It should definitely not be performed as a religious ritual. That's barbaric.

Remember how we were throwing them off of buildings? No. I don't have any issue with people not liking things. That is up to them. What I have is a problem with the violence against people they disagree with.

There's nothing fair about barbarism, no matter where it takes place. More than 200 million girls and women alive today have been mutilated in 30 countries in Africa, the Middle East and Asia.

Please note the maps below. The first one shows the distribution of Muslims in Africa. The second map illustrates those countries with rates of female genitalia mutilation.

The overlap of Islam and FGM is obvious. Yes, female genitalia mutilation is a Muslim problem.

The African population explosion will do that on its own before 2100.

Because 2016 is a number. It isn't some sign that we have progressed as a society.

If you think circumcision is anywhere remotely close to what is happening to these women, you aren't intelligent enough to even have this discussion with.

I respectfully disagree. Once the courts are filled with liberal progressive judges, and they will be if Clinton is elected, gays will recognize that they have the upper hand and the Supreme Court will likely rule just as I described. The pattern is clear:
1. No one ever thought that abortion on demand would be the law of the land; it is.
2. Few would have guessed that gay marriage would also become the law of the land; it has.
3. Literally no one would have thought that male transvestites who identify as females would be able to choose women's restrooms; they can.
4. Meanwhile you suggest that freedom of religion will never be compromised.
5. And others think that the 2nd Amendment will never be compromised.
