The beginning of "race week" "religion week" etc. was when it started started to get worse. Oh and there aren't any funny threads or anything like that usually.

It's gotten better since the election, but if I wanted a ton of political threads I'd go hang out on the PoliBoard. One or two here and there isn't bad but there was a point where it was getting pretty PoliBoard-esque over here.

Indeed. His shitposting and Stacked's/Sleeping Tiger's before that harmed the discourse greatly. Board doesn't get as much traffic so it doesn't take a lot to kill positive vibes.

I have thought about it. I might start with Sunflower and Joint Vetch this season. I need to learn a lot about video production and editing!

First, I think the TD OT just has too many posters. There's no way to have a conversation over a work day, or a weekend, or even a week. Threads are buried within an hour or two.
Second: It's mostly just a bunch of LSU college age kids.
Third: It's just full of trolls, and "PIIHB" humor. There's no legitimate discourse.
I vote that we develop a small, tight knit community and employ some sort of mechanism to bounce assholes with the quickness.
The best board on the site, if you're into such things, is the OB. It seems to be very self regulating. And doesn't suffer fools.

I mean, I don't want to start hating in the OTL. I post there regularly, too. I do prefer not everything being Louisiana-centric, though.
