Have you ever been struck in the nuts really hard?

I'll never forget the feeling I had when it happened to me.

I was 14 years old at the St. Louis Zoo when it happened. I was with a few old friends at the time on a school field trip. We were in a gift shop separated from the teachers and the other kids. Long story short, one of my old douche bag friends hit me in the nuts with a plastic monkey themed baseball bat he found in the gift shop. He just did a quick one-handed swing while nobody was looking and he nailed me right on the money. I don't think he meant to hit me as hard as he did. He even told me himself that he didn't hit me that hard but it didn't matter. I tried to play it off like it didn't hurt because I didn't want to look weak in front of my other friends but that was short lived. I just kind of walked two feet before I fell to my knees with one hand on the ground and the other hand over my groin. I couldn't breath. My friends were telling me to get up but I couldn't. I think the guy that hit me in the nuts was kind of afraid he was going to get in trouble because I was in some serious pain for like 2 minutes. They tried to help me up but I couldn't.

It's funny when I look back at it because I can still see all the random people walking around the gift shop wondering what the hell this kid is doing on the ground and why he looks like he's in pain. I just kind of waited out the pain.

It was one of the most painful things I've ever experienced. It was weird because it felt like someone punched me really hard in the stomach with a brass knuckle. I didn't feel any immediate pain on my nuts. I could barley breath and I think I shed a few tears.
