They made him seem like a segregationist. He might not have been one to think blacks and whites were equal, but he definitely didn't oppose the integration of Alabama.

Anybody have any insight on this? I thought it was a bit unfair.

Also, I just realized this.

If Gump was at Alabama when it was integrated (1963) then how was he on the AA team that met JFK? Kennedy was shot in November of 1963.
