I came really close to springing for the 50 count at $220 but I want a little more variety. Sitting and watching......

I did good sir. Ordered 3 different brands to sample. Concerned I won't get the true taste without the age like you say.

But I'm giving em a go!

More than likely they are aged already.

Excellent. Do you strictly smoke Cuban's or do you have some other smokes you enjoy as well?

I just got into the hobby and and trying out different samplers so far I have these sticks:

3 – Montecristo Classic Churchill (7” x 54)
3 – 5 Vegas Gold Churchill (7” x 50)
3 – Macanudo Café Hyde Park (5.5” x 49)
3 – Rocky Patel Connecticut Torpedo (6.5” x 50)
3 – Perdomo Reserve Champagne Epicure (6” x 54)
3 – Hoyo Excalibur Epicure (5.25” x 50)

1 – 5 Vegas Gold Torpedo (6” x 54)
1 – Ave Maria Crusader (5” x 52)
1 – Gurkha Beauty (6.5” x 56)
1 – Cohiba Red Dot Robusto (5” x 49)
1 – Macanudo Hyde Park (5.5” x 49)
1 – Montecristo Media Noche Edmundo (5” x 5.5)
1 – Punch Pita (6.1” x 50)
1 – Rocky Patel Connecticut Toro (6” x 52)
1 – Romeo y Julieta Vintage #7.5 (6.2” x 54)
1 – Torano Dominican Selection Torpedo (6.5” x 52)

5 - Oliva G Serie Churchills

So far so good. I have been having troubel keeping my humidor at 70%. I'm using drymistat sticks and the shitty huimidifier that comes with the humidors with PG solution. I guess my humidor leaks a little bc it stays around 65%. Any suggestions would be welcome.

I was planning on having this for the game this weekend. Any recommendations for paring? I usually just drink beer.

I think it's fun maintaining the humidor.

I would drink something like a porter with it.

I'm late to this thread but man, am I happy to see it.

The best cigars I've smoked lately are:

Camacho American Barrel-Aged
Arturo Fuente Hemingway Signature

I can't decide if I like the AJ Fernandez's New World or not. I'll have to smoke a few more to make sure. I found a deal online with 5 regular New Worlds and 5 of the new Connecticut New Worlds for like $30 so that will give me a chance to make sure.

If I just want a quick smoke, it's a Punch Deluxe Royal Coronation.

I've only been smoking for a couple of years but I've probably got 50 cigars in the humidor and 25 more arriving in the mail today.

An aside, there are a couple of great Facebook groups that I frequent:

CO Fans
Cigar Cartel

Anywho, I'm out.

If I can order from somewhere other than CI, I will.

I did just buy a sampler from them though.

I got the 10 New Worlds from Cigar Place.

Fine Ash Cigars.
NeptuneCigar.com
Atlantic Cigar Company
JR Cigar
Tampa Humidor
Famous Smoke Shop

Two Guys Smoke Shop does the Cigar Authority radio show, which I listen to on iTunes and they send out a "Care Package" every month for $19.99 and the 4 cigars that they'll be smoking on the show that month. Pretty good sticks for the price.

Bad experience with Cigars International? I've never had a problem.

Holt's Cigar was a good place I used in the past when I used to buy non Cubans.

Will smoke an occasional non Cuban from time to time; mostly gift cigars, or sent to me for review purposes.
