Aw c'mon, my reply was at least snarky.

Capitol Police were present. They killed the shooter.
I know. I was responding to CNB mentioning the only reason they were there were because of the LA Congressman. It's also why they weren't present at the Democrat's practice. They apparently don't follow all members.

So now that it's one of yours, liberals are suddenly against stereotyping.
I had an issue with it when they blamed GOP rhetoric, specifically Palin, for Giffords shooting.
Hard to see eye to eye when you're painting such a broad brush right?

There has been terrible rhetoric from both sides, but you're being blissfully ignorant if you think the violence has been equally distributed.
There are a lot of liberal celebrities that should be under Secret Service surveillance, and a few definitely belong in Guantanamo.

You would think that if there was a gathering of Congressmen, ranking or not, that there would be some kind of security.
There was security and they got off a few rounds at the shooter giving some of the people on the field a chance to run for the dugout for cover.

Antifa is a left wing terrorist organization.
But they're pussies.

Mitch Landrieu contacted Antifa to vandalize the statues in New Orleans.
I couldn't give a damn about some confederate statues, but we have a Democratic Mayor of New Orleans contacting a domestic terrorist organization to help achieve his goals. That's a problem.

This is coming off the heels of 'trump's rhetoric is dangerous' claims that have been going on for over a year. Meanwhile, we have griffin holding a severed head, plays acting out trump's assisination, antifa (who are largely Bernie bros) committing actual violence and destroying public property, and now this. It seems like one side openly fantasizes about violence and murder a lot more than the other on twitter/fb/social media.
I'm all for free speech, but just like many things, the left will never believe it is a value worth preserving until they die by their own sword. Once "speech has consequence" becomes equal opportunity, then they will change their minds in a way that arguing and reasoning will never do.

During the Obama administration, we had the IRS actively targeting conservative groups for audits, and federal agents and military personnel being trained to target civilians and alt-right groups.
It's time for the pendulum to swing the other way, and for the far left to get a taste of their own medicine.

Are you inciting violence?

Equitably distributed, yes. I'm an equal opportunity revolutionary.

There's a large amount of truth to what you say. In general terms, the right is made up of people who follow the rules. That's pretty much the definition of a conservative. They/we talk a lot, but in the end tend to operate within the boundaries set by society.
The left are more rule-breakers. That's not always a bad thing because sometimes the rules are wrong but this generation of rule-breakers are doing it in a fashion that could end very badly for them and the country.
The right, or if you wish, the people that elected Trump along with the majority of the Senate and House, are overwhelmingly the people that make up the military, they're the cops, they're the hunters, they're the NRA members. Or, put another way, they're the people capable of and competent at a level of violence we never, ever want to see. Some of the so-called 'leaders' of the left need to start calling out their own before some of the unhinged on the right decide to act out too.
