I don't disagree with your assertion. One of the primary reasons I cut the cord, along with the absurd cost, is my disdain for cable news across the board. It's been bad for over a decade. They've gone from reporting the news to making sure it's reported with a political/social agenda attached.

The fact that I can change Bernie to Trump and it's even more accurate should tell you a few things about the politics in our country right now.

Makes absolutely no sense what you are saying...like saying 50% of the time it works ALL the time.

Yeah I heard them mention they didn't have any security at the Democrats practice either.

You would think that if there was a gathering of Congressmen, ranking or not, that there would be some kind of security. At the very least in the wake of this there needs to be a hard look at security measures when it comes to events like this.

You want me to tell you why your non-sense is non-sense ?

Is that the question?...

What did he say that was nonsense?

Are you going to willfully sit here and say there hasn't been rhetoric on both sides that could be interpreted as the call for violent action if we're talking about someone who is mentally unstable?

If we're going to sit and point fingers at one party or another, than we haven't learned shite from this.

Remember all the times you saw Trump supporters beating the opposition?

This one they actually edited out the part where the crowd chants Bernie. If you find the full video you will hear it.

There has been terrible rhetoric from both sides, but you're being blissfully ignorant if you think the violence has been equally distributed.

Since Trump's election how many (D) senators and representatives have been subject to verbal and sometimes physical attacks at public appearances? How many Bernie or Hillary supporters have been physically assaulted for simply wearing a candidate's clothing? How many liberal public figures have openly called for active, physical resistance?

Now go back 8 years and tell me how many of those things happened to after Obama's election?

Again, I agree the rhetoric has been terrible both ways and Trump's unwillingness or inability to control his knee-jerk twitter is my biggest disappointment in his term so far but when it comes to acts of violence (and open calls for it), there's no comparison at all. It is almost exclusively coming from the left.

Once again, if you're busy pointing fingers at one party or ideology, then you're part of the problem.

It's incredibly sad that we can't rise above the rhetoric that's being shoved down our throats from both sides.

No, you're missing the point.

Overwhelmingly, right now only one side of the spectrum is reacting to the rhetoric with violence.

Yep, but all you saw in the news was about him being a white supremacist and many blamed Trump.

But I'm not going to run around blaming Bernie fricking Sanders because some crazy decided to open fire on Congressmen. Last I checked, mental instability isn't exclusive to a political party affiliation.

No, but being a Bernie staffer should indicate some form of mental instability.

Capitol Police were present. They killed the shooter.

I'm sure the Democrats have Capitol Police present at their practices also.

So now that it's one of yours, liberals are suddenly against stereotyping.

This is exactly why we can't see eye to eye on jack shite.
