Staying in the state park, in the new campground The Outpost. So mostly we'll be doing stuff in the park.

Any cant misses we have to do here? What are the best trails?

Also what are the best seafood restaurants in gulf shores/ orange beach

IF you like Live Bluegrass (Thursday-Saturday Nights) go to The Original Point; food in excellent, too.

I love bluegrass but Wednesday is our last night. Is it worth it just for the food? We really want some good fresh gulf seafood

Yes, I'm partial to the Grilled Grouper.

They have a website, so you can look at menu.

Also, look back in May for the thread I started about area restaurants...

Topped it for you.

Cottons was good. Nothing special compared to any other coastal seafood restaurant. They advertise as a former beach house so I was expecting it to be on the beach, but it was across the street and you can't even see the water.

Anybody who likes camping and the beach, I highly recommend The Outpost at Gulf State Park

Louisiana Lagniappe is far and away the best restaurant. I'd also recommend Sea n Suds, Tin Top, Cosmo's and Fisher's. Was actually just down there the last two weekends and ate at all of those. Had to eat at Lagniappe twice..its just that good.

Edit: Cottons used to be a place we hit but for some reason we just haven't been in awhile. If we want a nice steak we go to Nolan's.
